Messi Injury, Severity Unknown

Soccer player Lionel Messi suffered an injury during the game between his team Barcelona an Hercules in which they ended up winning 2-1. Barcelona fans from around the World are expecting to see what the severity of the injury is.

The foul that caused Messi to leave on a stretcher was made by Czech defender Tomas Ujfalusi, earning this way his second yellow card in the match, and the red that got him out of the field. There are tests to be made to check the severity of the injury, but the talk out there is that it could keep Messi from playing at least three weeks!
“We are happy with the win but sad about Messi,” said Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola “The TV pictures speak for themselves. It is not only Cristiano Ronaldo [of Real Madrid] who needs protecting. The referees should protect all the players.”
