News from the Crosby beach is that people are very worried about the sand on the beach after the incident of a teenage couple; they sank into the sinking sand. The tourists and locals are trying to avoid most parts of the beach and now the tourists are getting a very small area to chill. This is a very bad news for the local government as a big amount of income of the government was due to the tourist that came there to enjoy the sea and the sun. The management of the beach had not put any danger sign on the beach about the sinking sand that was present on the Crosby beach. It is very dangerous when there are no danger signs on the beach and the people get into danger due to no boards etc. The concerns of the people are arising due to the incident that happened about four days ago.
A teenage couple was enjoying at the beach when suddenly they go stuck in the sinking sand and they sank up to their knees, the couple was able to save their lives but they lost their shoes in doing so. Fifteen years old Emma Beatham said that she got stuck in the sand with her boyfriend and they were stuck up to their knees. She said that she lost her shoes in the struggle of getting out of the sinking sand. There were no sign boards at that part of the Crosby beach but there are danger signs on other places. The locals hope that the management will do something for these sign boards problems and seal the sinking sand area.
