Hoopz And Shaq

Hoopz and Shaq Engaged, how!
Over the last few months, several reports have been circulating all across the web that Hoopz and Boston Celtic Center, Shaquille O’Neal had been spending a lot of time together and thus many fans were of the view that Hoopz and Shaq were dating, however, all the rumors shot up a notch on Monday Night!
According to multiple sources, Hoopz and Shaq (former contestant of ‘Flavor of Love’ Nicole Alexander and Shaquille O’ Neal) has gotten engaged. In past, Hoopz and Shaq have been seen together several times but no one was expecting such a decision until yesterday when sources confirmed that at Sahara Mediterranean Cuisine and Hookah Lounge,
Shaq proposed Hoopz and she simply accepted it. However, any official announcement to confirm the Hoopz and Shaq engagement news hasn’t been received so far from the both sides.

But, if the news of Hoopz and Shaq engagement is true, then what about Hoopz ex-boyfriend James Jackson with whom she was residing in Louisville, Tennessee just prior last night’s drama.
Shaq, who put a beautiful ring in Hoopz’s finger just last night, is expected to make an official announcement soon. Hoopz has recently won $250,000 from a reality show called ‘I Love Money’ and after winning the prize money she happily said “no doubt, it’s huge. But I’ll save it”.
Now apparently, Hoopz is all set to start the new part of her life with Shaq, who is an American professional basketball player and has divorced his wife, Shaunie, after seven years of their marriage.
So, our best wishes are surely with them.

Hitler DNA

Hitler is remembered as the biggest murderer of all time, he was one of the most barbaric persons ever born. Some pretty strange results have been revealed by the Hitler DNA. The biggest enemy of the Jews has his roots coming from Africa and Jews. The Belgium magazine who revealed these results has also revealed that they have been able to find thirty nine relatives of Hitler in different parts of America and Europe. Saliva samples were collected in order to match the DNA ancestry.
The magazine has been working with a historian named Vermeeren on this project. The historian stated that they found a chromosome in the Hitler DNA that is rarely found in European people. The chromosome found in his DNA is usually found in the residents of Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria and also in Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews. There has been a lot of controversy regarding the paternity of Hitler. Their have been no confirmed research about the grand parents of Hitler.

The facts that have been revealed by Knack are pretty interesting as Hitler had always been against the Jews and he is held responsible for killing hundreds of thousands of Jews. Hitler DNA report results are really amazing for the people because every one thought that he had no relation with the Jews and that’s the reason why he hated them so much. Hitler did not have any soft corner for the Jews in his heart. The news regarding the DNA of Hitler is among the most searched news on the internet at the moment.

Marco Rubio

Marco Rubio’s path to winning the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate in Florida would not have been possible without the ardent backing of Tea Party activists. But you wouldn’t know that by listening to his victory speech Tuesday night.

The Republican candidate, who easily won the GOP nomination Tuesday and will face independent Gov. Charlie Crist and Democrat Rep. Kendrick Meek in November, thanked his wife, his parents and God during his victory speech. But he did not mention the Tea Party or thank the grassroots activists specifically.

Does this mean Marco Rubio’s general election strategy includes cooling down his Tea Party rhetoric?

“Marco Rubio owes his position to the Tea Party, the 9/12 groups and the other grassroots groups,” said Robin Stublen, a Tea Party activist who founded the Punta Gorda Tea Party in Florida. He said the notion that Rubio is moderating his Tea Party speak is “100 percent correct,” though admitted he still fully supports the Tea Party-backed insurgent.

In the Sunshine State’s unique general election this cycle — that includes a serious independent challenge — Rubio’s strategy is obvious: win over enough votes of moderate Republicans and independents who might be drawn to Crist while keeping the Tea Party energy on his side. Crist, the early front-runner, left the GOP to run as an independent in the race after Rubio became a Tea Party darling.

A New York Times reporter recently traveled with Rubio as he campaigned on the Florida panhandle and penned a profile of the former state House speaker, writing that Rubio “is trying to show that he is more than just an insurgent protest candidate—and he is breaking with some Tea Party orthodoxy in the process.”

Rubio’s campaign did not respond to multiple requests to interview Rubio or return requests to describe the campaign’s strategy going into the general election. Yet the always-on-message Rubio projected himself Tuesday night as a measured politician focused on presenting GOP alternatives, rather than as an angry Tea Partier without any ideas. “I am not running to be the opposition…I believe there is a better way to do things,” he said.

While other grassroots, conservative backed candidates have appeared to embrace the Tea Party label, Rubio often dodges the question of whether he considers himself a Tea Partier. Asked the question recently, he said, “I think there is a real misunderstanding about what the Tea Party movement is. The Tea Party movement is a sentiment in America that government is broken – both parties are to blame – and if we don’t do something soon, this exceptional country will be lost and it will become just like everybody else.”

He also, for example, has been non-committal about whether he’d join a Tea Party caucus in the Senate if elected.

Perhaps it’s an effective strategy, as Democrats have not been able to successfully portray him as outside the mainstream like they have done with other Republican Senate candidates this election cycle, like Sharron Angle in Nevada, Rand Paul in Kentucky and Ken Buck in Colorado.

But, at the same time, he’s certainly not abandoning the message that attracted the grassroots activists to his campaign. In his speech Tuesday night he told the assembled crowd that, “If you like the direction that America is headed, if you think Washington is doing the right thing, then there are two other people on the ballot and you should go for one of them.”

Erica Blasberg

LPGA Golfer Erica Blasberg committed suicide according to reports.  Erica Blasberg's death was ruled a suicide after an extensive investigation, with the cause of death called asphyxia coupled with the presence of toxic levels of prescription medication.  According to the LA Times, drugs in her system included prescription headache, cough, pain and anti-anxiety medications.  The specific drugs were butalbital, temazepam, alprazolam, codeine, hydrocodone and tramadol, but the amount of each drug was not released at this time.

This is an extremely sad way for this case to come to an end, but it isn't entirely surprising after the way that she had died.  A suicide note was given by Blasberg, so the combination of that and the drugs led the Police Department to rule out any foul play in the incident.  The case isn't entirely closed though, as the authorities still want to talk further with Dr. Thomas Hess, who had something to do with the prescriptions that Blasberg had in her possession.

Blasberg was pretty new to the tour, so not a lot of people outside of devote LPGA fans knew who she was yet.  It is clear that she was suffering internally though, and it's too bad that nobody saw the warning signs that could have been obvious.  That is not to say that all suicides are preventable, but with the number of prescription drugs that Blasberg was taking, it seems that there was evidence this could have been prevented.

Erica Blasberg passed away on May 9, 2010.

John McCain

WASHINGTON — Veteran Sen. John McCain sailed to nomination for a fifth term Tuesday over an Arizona challenger with tea party support, but big-spending political novice Rick Scott beat an insider in Florida's Republican gubernatorial primary as voters split on the merits of establishment candidates vs. outsiders.
In other big-name races, Rep. Kendrick Meek prevailed for Florida's Senate Democratic nomination over upstart Jeff Greene, and Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska hoped voters would reward political experience as she faced a spirited Republican primary challenge 10 weeks before the general election.
With more than half of the precincts counted, little-known attorney Joe Miller, a decorated Gulf war veteran and self-described "constitutional conservative," led 51 percent to 49 percent in contest that, in the end, amounted to an Alaska-sized GOP family feud. Miller was endorsed by Sarah Palin.
Murkowski would be the seventh incumbent — and fourth Republican — to lose in a year in which the tea party has scored huge victories in GOP Senate primaries and voters have shown a willingness to punish Republican and Democratic candidates with ties to Washington and party leadership.
Nominating contests in five states — Vermont also was voting, and Oklahoma held GOP runoffs — highlighted dominant themes of this unpredictable election year, including anti-establishment anger and tea party challenges from the right. But the early results indicated that if there was a single pattern to the night, it may have been the lack of one.
Just two years after reaching the pinnacle of the GOP establishment as the party's presidential nominee, McCain found himself facing a stiff Senate primary challenge by ex-radio host and former Rep. J.D. Hayworth, who tried to tap into anti-Washington sentiment coursing through the electorate. So, McCain spent more than $20 million and aggressively cast Hayworth in a negative light.

It worked, and McCain, who has never lost a statewide race, comfortably won the Republican nod in his home state. He now enters the general election as the heavy favorite to win a fifth term.

Soulja Boy Twitter

Is Soulja Boy a cokehead? Kat Stacks thinks so!

In her latest video, Kat Stacks puts Soulja Boy on blast by providing “proof” that the 20-year-old rapper loves him some BOLIVIAN MARCHING POWDER.

The video starts with Kat Stacks in a hotel room bathroom talking into a mirror while a bathrobe barely covers her fake breasts (insert Mel Gibson quotable here). Right from the jump Kat claims that Soulja Boy is a cokehead. She then proceeds to walk into the dining area of the hotel room and sure enough on the sideboard are a few lines of what looks like that WHITE GIRL.

And just when you’re realizing that Soulja Boy hasn’t been seen or heard at all and you’re starting to doubt her story, the video cuts to a recorded phone conversation between the two, along with what looks like a series of private messages sent by Soulja Boy on Twitter.

Phone conversation not enough for you?

Cut to camera phone video of her on a bed watching television next to some dude who, all we see of him are his scalp and a gang of tattoos that look like Soulja Boy’s inkings.

You never get a clear shot of the guy’s face, because Kat Stacks is a grimy chick and knows if these dudes caught her videotaping them, she probably would need reconstructive surgery on that ugly face of hers.

Alex Sink

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Florida's Republican voters have chosen wealthy newcomer Rick Scott over career public servant Bill McCollum as their candidate for governor.

Scott had 46 percent of the vote and McCollum 43 percent with 92 percent of precincts reporting Tuesday night.

The 57-year-old Scott won despite repeated questions about his leadership of the hospital conglomerate Columbia/HCA. It paid a record fine for Medicare fraud.

The 66-year-old McCollum is a former congressman and the state's elected attorney general. He garnered numerous endorsements but was outspent 3-to-1 by Scott, who poured more than $38 million of his own money into the campaign.

Scott will face Democrat Alex Sink in the Nov. 2 general election.

On the Saturday night she was picked by one of her friends and they both were going to attend a party. Florida Election Results: Kendrick Meek Wins

Just when everyone thought he was out, Rep. Kendrick Meek pulled himself back in. After a brutal and expensive surprise primary challenge from billionaire investor Jeff Greene, the AP is reporting that Meek has won the prize he thought he had in his grasp months ago: the Democratic nomination for Senate in Florida.

With 38% of precincts reporting, Meek is leading Greene 55-32. Also-ran former Miami Mayor Maurice Ferre has 6% of the vote. Meek is now set to take the stage in a general election fight where, essentially, two men are vying for the Democratic vote -- Meek and Gov. Charlie Crist, who has run hard for Democratic support since abandoning the GOP primary against Marco Rubio.

Before we turn our attention to uphill climb Meek now faces against Crist and Rubio, we should take a moment to note the uphill climb he just completed. Meek was all but written off after Greene's barrage of negative advertising left the relatively unknown Meek down in the polls. But Meek battled back, taking on Greene with tough rhetoric in debates and pulling in help from powerful friends like President Clinton and President Obama. He ran negative ads of his own and likely was overjoyed as media attention quickly deflated the regular-guy image the flamboyant Greene tried to create for himself. Just as he did early in the primary cycle -- when his fundraising prowess cleared the field early -- Meek has shown that he is ready and willing to fight for the nomination.

Unfortunately for him, Meek just got what he's been wishing for.

Almost no one expects Meek to win the whole thing in November. The best that most observers say he can hope for is the role of spoiler, ending Crist's attempts to remake himself as a centrist Democrat and pulling off just enough of the base Democratic vote to hand Rubio a win in the end.

But Meek proved tonight he can overcome a candidate with more money and a lead in the polls. In his acceptance speech tonight, Meek characterized the general election fight as a battle he can win -- largely because he's the only real Democrat running.

"I am running against two conservative candidates that have similar records," Meek told supporters tonight. Meek said he was the only candidate carrying traditional Democratic values into the fall.

"I am the only candidate who supports a woman's right to choose and equal pay for equal work, has fought against privatizing Social Security, and will repeal the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest 1% of Americans and cut taxes for the middle class," he said in a statement released by his campaign after the night was over. In his speech to supporters, he pointed out a number of issues where he has differed from both Crist and Rubio, including public support for Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor (both Crist and Rubio opposed her nomination, though Crist supported Justice Elena Kagan's nomination after becoming an independent.)

The TPM Poll Average shows Meek running a distant third in the race. He's got just 16.8% of the vote. Crist leads Rubio at the top of the contest, 36.0-33.8.

Arizona Primary Results 2010

All year long, people have anxiously awaited the Arizona Senate primary results for the Republican primary. It features John McCain, probably the most prominent Republican senator, their 2008 presidential candidate, a favorite guest on the network talk shows, and perhaps the definition of the establishment. In the other corner is JD Hayworth, who left Congress under a cloud only to resurrect his career as a populist radio talk show host. Exit polls available here if anywhere, but we are uncertain this hour if exit polling data will be taken.

Updated Arizona primary results: John McCain winner in a blowout over JD. Hayworth! Vote count will be about 2-1.

This is probably McCain’s last hurrah into electoral politics. He is 73 years old, has a history of extensive health problems, has a wealthy, attractive wife who seems bored with the whole campaigning ethos, and finds his lifelong positions more and more rejected by mainstream Republicans, let alone the Tea Party movement. So he has decided that, in order to win, he will reject many of his erstwhile policies in order to win one last time. He opposed the Bush tax cuts when originally proposed; now, he favors them. He supported immigration reform that sought to make citizenship easier for illegal immigrants, while preserving the illusion of restricting entrance; now, he is all about border security. When he ran for president, he supported repeal of don’t ask, don’t tell; now, he tells voters he will filibuster repeal. He has also spent $20 million to defeat JD Hayworth in Tuesday’s primary.

Hayworth appeared close to toppling McCain last year. Polls repeatedly showed the race to be close. When Sarah Palin came to the state to campaign for her 2008 running mate, many in the horde of her fans who went to her campaign events stated that they planned on supporting Hayworth. But the expensive negative ad campaign being waged by McCain appears to be working. Ads have criticized the challenger for, among other things, and questioning Obama’s citizenship and his close connection to Jack Abramoff, which led to his decision to leave the House. Hayworth hopes that the expensive ad campaign will backfire upon the incumbent senator.

Hayworth, meanwhile, is charging that McCain’s new views have an expiration date – election day, 2010. He claims that the senator, once he wins and is removed from the hands of the electorate, will revert to his old positions at that time.

Senator McCain has clearly affected the results of this primary with his spending. Polls, seen below, verify that he has gained a substantial advantage. Hayworth’s only chance for victory now rests on the hope that turnout is very low; that only strongly committed supporters of either candidate decide to cast their ballots. This may be a longshot. However, political scientists have long contended that when both sides wage negative campaigns, it substantially reduces turnout. This is because a function of negative ads is that it turns people off who leaned toward the opposition. When both sides engage, only strong supporters will vote on either side. So, Hayworth has to hope that turnout is very low, and that he has more strong supporters than does McCain.

Previously, we’ve already discussed the issue differences between these two candidates here. Now tell us what you think of the Arizona primary, results as they happen. Any exit poll data is welcome in the comments, as are your predictions for who is the winner in the McCain Hayworth race.

And thus, one more piece of the NFL's historical (and, in some ways, hypocritical) aversion to anything resembling gambling has been chipped away. The Chargers are about to team up with the California Lottery, lending their name and identity to a line of Scratchers tickets.

According to the news release, non-winning Chargers Scratchers tickets can be entered on the lottery website in a contest for team-related prizes, including use of suites at home games, VIP ticket packages and autographed helmets and jerseys from current players.

The official announcement will be made Tuesday afternoon at Chargers Park.

Rick Scott Wins

Rick Scott has taken the attention of the whole media towards himself by defeating the State Attorney General Bill McCollum in the recent Gubernatorial Elections. Tuesday was a nightmare for Bill McCollum when it was announced that he had been defeated by the Newcomer Rick Scott who did not knew any political methods of winning the elections. The win of this great personality was very close one and there was only a small difference of just 3 percent votes which were in his favor. Bill who had the support of many high profile politicians such as the former governor of Florida Jeb Bush could not win the elections. On the other hand Rick Scott who only had the support and the votes of the public won the elections.
From all the overall results it has been said that McCollum had 43 percent votes while Rick had 46 percent votes on his side. This victory has become a great source of happiness and excitement for Rick Scott.

According to the media Scott said that the voters now have the mind of their own as they have chosen the right person as their new politician. The elections in this State of Florida have become a good example of righteousness and justice as the people have made the right choice in selecting a capable politician. This narrow victory of Rick Scott has given a lot of confidence to honest politicians who know that they now have the support of the public who will not ruin their efforts.
