Last day it was seen that although the Rutgers won the game with a great margin but they were not celebrating and carrying on their activities in a very quite manner due to the shocking injury of Eric and till that time much was not disclosed to the media about the condition of the athlete but now it has been known that he has got paralyzed below his neck, he got this severe injury while he was making a great tackle in the actual fourth quarter against Army. Rutgers player paralyzed and shall stay in the local hospital for a long period as he is badly injured. After Rutgers player paralyzed he got admitted to the intensive care ward and this shows that he is in a serious condition, a surgery in order to stabilize the spine has already been made and things are hoped to get better.

All the fans of the player are really upset and they hope that he is given proper medical treatment and he may get well really soon. The coach also got a bit emotional as he said that when he trains the kids he feels like they are his very own.
