History Of Ann Margaret:Ann-Margret was raised Lutheran.  She was married to Roger Smith, May 8, 1967. He was an actor who later became her manager, Smith is now semi-retired due to myasthenia gravis.

She was riding 500cc Triumph T100C Tiger motorcycle in the Swinger (1966) and the same model equipped with a non-standard electric starter in her show. Acute rider, she was shown in the official advertisement Triumph motorcycles in the 60′s. She suffered three broken ribs and a fractured shoulder when she was thrown from the motorcycle she was riding in rural Minnesota in 2000.
Ann-Margret Olsson (born April 28, 1941) is a Swedish-American actress, singer and dancer whose professional name Ann-Margret. She became known for her starring roles in Bye, Bye Birdie, Viva Las Vegas, Cincinnati Kid, Carnal Knowledge, and Tommy. Her later career included character roles in grumpy old men, Every Sunday, Santa Claus 3, The Break-Up. She won five Golden Globe Awards and was nominated for two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, the Screen Actors Guild Award and six Emmy Awards. August 21, 2010 she received her first Emmy for her guest appearance on Law and Horde .
Ann-Margret was born in Stockholm, the daughter of Anna (née Aronsson) and Gustav Olsson, a native of Örnsköldsvik. Although young, she moved with her parents in Valsjöbyn, Jämtlands län, which she later described as a small town “lumberjacks and farmers high near the Arctic Circle. Her father worked in the United States during his youth and moved back again in 1942, working with Johnson Electric Company, while his wife and daughter remained.

Ann-Margret and her mother moved to the U.S. in November 1946, and her father took her to Radio City Music Hall on the day they arrived. They settled near Chicago in Wilmette, Illinois. She became a naturalized United States citizen in 1949 and took her first lessons in dance at the Marjorie Young School of Dance, shows natural ability from the outset, it is easy to simulate all stages. Her parents were supportive, and her mother hand-made all her costumes. Mother Ann-Margret was the funeral parlor reception  after her husband suffered a severe injury to his work.  While a teenager, Ann-Margret appeared on the Morris B. Sachs Amateur Hour, Don McNeill’s Breakfast Club and Ted Mack’s Amateur Hour.

In high school, where she graduated from New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois, she continued acting in plays and she attended Northwestern University, where she was a member of the sorority Kappa Alpha Theta but not finished. As part of a group known as “Suttletones,” they were in a fog, night club of Chicago, and traveled to Las Vegas promised date of the club, which failed after they arrived. They plugged ahead in Los Angeles, and through an agent Georgia Lund, secured club dates in Newport Beach and Reno, where Ann-Margret was a chance encounter with Marilyn Monroe, which has been in place for the Misfits. Monroe noticed the striking girl in the crowd of onlookers, then chatted privately with her, offering her support.

Group finally arrived at the Dunes in Las Vegas, which is also entitled Tony Bennett and Al Hirt at the time. George Burns had heard about her performance, she auditioned for his annual holiday show in which she and Burns did a soft shoe routine. Variety declared: “George Burns, a gold mine in Ann-Margret … she has a certain style of its own, which can easily send it to star status.”
