Falmouth Road Race Results 2010: Falmouth Road Race  is held annually on Capa Cod. He comes from Woods Hole to Falmouth more beautiful 7 miles. There is a $ 90,300 prize money at stake for this race.

Originally conceived by Tommy Leonard, a runner from Boston, Massachusetts. After watching the Olympics 1972 he decided to get a winner, Frank In short, for starting in Cape Cod. The following year the first race on Cape Cod was conducted and about 100 runners competed. In 1974 there were over 400 runners, and in 1975, finally, Frank Shorter ran for the first time, and the number of students went up to 850 people.

Falmouth Road Race is now considered one of the best, no-marathon races in the country. Top athletes from around the world meet and run just for fun.

Only a certain number of runners can participate in the race. Access to the top of Woods Hole is strictly controlled. Number of seats specially reserved for residents of Falmouth. Four runners, Mike Bennett, Don Delinks, Ron Pokraka, and Brian Salzberg, officially completed every Falmouth Road Race.

He starts the race at the Captain Kidd Restaurant & Bar in Woods Hole, and is the hilly course to Falmouth Heights beach, near the site of the former inn Brothers Four, where Tommy Leonard, a man who had the original idea, usually a bar in 1972 -1973. Race sponsored by Cigna, medical services company based in Philadelphia.

9738 runners finished the race. The best time of 00:32:20, and the average time was 1:07:03 and the maximum time of 2:20:38. This means that someone must be mistaken race walk. Even the mean time, shows that many people must have just a quick walk.
