ICC Awards 2010:LG ICC Awards 2010 will be announced in Bangalore today. This is the 7 th annual LG ICC Awards, to be held in Grand Castle, Bangalore.AB De Villiers, South African batsman will perform in guests at night with Ampie du Preez, his singing partner.Sachin Tendulkar has been nominated in four categories, such as international player of the year, testing Cricketer year, Cricketer, and the audience award.
Virender Sehwag was nominated in two categories, Test Player of the Year and Cricketer of the year.It is expected that Sachin will win the award this year.
Other players who are appointed for the ICC Awards 2010 are as follows:
- * Test Player of the Year: Sachin Tendulkar, Hashim Amla, Virender Sehwag, Dale Steyn.
- * One Day International Player of the Year: Sachin Tendulkar, Ryan Harris, AB De Villiers, Shane Watson.
- * T20 International Performance Year: Brendon McCullum, Mahela Jayawardena, Michael Hussey, Ryan McLaren.
- * New Player of the Year: Tim Payne, Steven Finn, Angelo Mathews, Umar Akmal.
- * Audience Award: Sachin Tendulkar, Mahela Jayawardena, AB de Villiers, Andre Strauss, Michael Hussey.
- * Women’s Cricketer year: Stafanie Taylor, Shelley Nitschke, Katherine Brunt, Ellyse Perry.
- * Spirit of Cricket: India, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka.
- * Judges of the Year: Simon Taufel, Steve Davis, Allem Dar, Tony Hill.
