What Is The Event?

What Is The Event?:What is the “Event”? Or, rather, that the “event” that the characters keep referring to the pilot for NBC much-hyped, but potentially difficult for the new thriller? And how much faith I should put on manufacturers to show who asked me to unconditionally trust them?
The broad strokes “Event”, which will be aired on NBC Mondays at 9 this fall, in the fact that Blair Underwood is the President?Jason Ritter, a young man whose girlfriend goes missing during the Cruise, Laura Innes is … Well, it’s not clear what she is, but she knows something about the “event”, and she said a lot of mysterious things in view, and, when the pilot takes a turn to science fiction.
Many of the rich is in the pilot, but any of these events? Well, it’s not clear – as a matter of how much tolerance will have an audience for shows like this after so many “Lost” imitators with a complex mythology, could not deliver the goods (and especially when in the final of “Lost” is in itself disappointing many that show the audience). “Event” pilot received a huge response when shown at Comic-Con, and then, as part of “Think” pilot, which was shown here a year ago, and we saw how quickly the audience has lost interest in the show, which is all about the secrets of matter not for them.
So it is not surprising that most of the questions in the “events” session at press tour about audience expectations for such series after so many others like it come and go quickly.
How, I asked to open things, they plan to manage the view patience as little experimental detected among a lot of action?
“We are very aware of the patience of the audience, the audience award,” said “24″ vet Evan Katz, who was brought in after the pilot was shot. “This show is really designed to answer questions to satisfy the people that they are connected, to be honest, but still keep asking questions so that once a mystery to solve, a mystery solved in. Thus, we keep (some) open secrets, but we are the solution (other) “.
Katz has promised that “in the second episode we are very clear answer to two major open questions in the pilot.”
Creator Nik Vaughters, who was a big fan of “24″ and “Lost” and “Battlestar Galactica”, insisted on “one of my main goals was to write a show that can keep the viewer hungry, but not thwart people.
“But”, he insisted, “you’re still kind of go on faith that we know what we’re doing.”
(At this point there is some eye-rolling in its issue of critics who have heard this phrase, or 12 times over the past seven years, only for the faith, not to receive the award.)
Wauters working on the idea for five years, and came to NBC with a detailed series of the Bible that producer Steve Starkey promised to include the “tent-pole criteria we will hit
A series of progressing even during the 3.
Vaughters said that the Bible in mind, we must consider the pilot a kind of invitation to the series, really. This is a starter. I think as a spectator and I’m a fan of ‘Lost “I would ask for people’s confidence – that although I was a fan, that’s I want them to do. “
