san bruno fire

An explosion and a fire have started in San Bruno, California shortly after 6 pm. At first it was though that this could be a plane crash but it is not; it appears to have been caused by the explosion of a large gas line according to information provided by Pacific Gas and Electric.

As a result of the San Bruno explosion and fire, several homes were destroyed and there are at least 9 people burned. 2 patients in San Francis Hospital in San Francisco have been reported to be in critical condition while the hospital is preparing to welcome more patients.

As of this moment, the blaze is still raging out of control and fire crews from nearby cities are arriving to the area to help with the fire control efforts. There were even off-duty firefighters without protective gear helping out.


The Blood Center of the Pacific issued an emergency and has asked people to donate blood.
