Koran Burning Florida

The “Koran Burning in Florida” problem continues, and today is the scheduled day for this act that has already been condemned by many notable names, including president Barack Obama. Afghans have protested burning a USA flag, so imagine what will happen if Terry Jones plans continue as planned.

Obama called the plan today a “recruitment bonanza for al Qaeda,”. While other Christian pastors have distanced from Terry Jones saying that they do not condone the action, and it doesn’t represent Christ at all.
Jones has said that he would reconsider his request if he gets a call from the White House, so this is starting to look like a hostage situation…
But Jones is not alone.  A copycat named Rev. Bob Old of Springfield, Tennessee has also announced similar plans for Saturday, and adds that he will upload a picture of the event.
“If they want to have their religion, they can have it somewhere else,” said Old “I believe that other religions are a threat to our faith and our beliefs,” Old is the head of an evangelical ministry called Disciples of Christ.
