Constitution Day 2010,Constitution Day And Activities:Every year on Constitution Day, Louisiana State University at Alexandria features something new in honor of the country and those expecting something different this year was disappointed.Friday, the event began with the words of freedom Shrine American documents, the constant participation in the exhibition hall chambers, which features copies of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Second World War the Japanese surrender, and other historical documents.It has all the key documents in the history of the United States, which lay our claim to freedom, “said David LSUA Chancellor Manuel, as he welcomed the crowd of about 100, and thanked the Exchange Club of Alexandria to the temple.

Freedom is not Free:
Gremillion said about the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on U.S. territory. While many people continue to ask why this happened, Gremillion said, he believes that the question: “Why do they hate us”.
America is the sole superpower is not by chance, “he said. First, he said, is because of the Judeo-Christian values of the country and because of its constitutional government. And it contrasted sharply with those who want to harm the nation.
Gremillion said that the Constitution protects the rights of citizens who do not agree with each other and fight in a “civilized constitutional means”, so that the enemies of the nation do not understand.

The event also featured an address by the choir Carlow, Peabody Magnet School Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps and a large American food Cook-Off competition of student organizations.

“It’s very, very American in the sense that it represents the kind of Louisiana at various locations throughout the United States,” Stacy said as his students were handing out samples of their cuisine.
