Who Is Played By Ashley Bell. :In what promises to be one of the most freightening horror films this year, The Last Exorcism’s star Ashley Bell is already getting Oscar buzz. The movie which opens in theaters nationwide on Friday, August 27th, is about a troubled evangelical minister who agrees to perform one last exorcism in front of a camera for a documentary crew. He goes on to do an Exorcism on a girl named Nell, who is played by Ashley Bell.

Bell says that she fought extremely hard for the part in auditions. She read any book she could find on exorcisms, and even interviewed people who have been involved in the actual acts. The Film director, Eli Toth, has high hopes for both the film and Ashley. “She’s the greatest, I want an Oscar statuette for Ashley Bell please,” he proudly stated at the premiere of the movie.

Also starring in the movie is Patrick Fabian, Iris Bahr, Louis Herthum, Caleb Landry Jones, Tony Bentley, John Wright Jr., and Shanna Forrestall. The director is Daniel Stamm.
