FOX’s hit reality show will be celebrating it’s 10 anniversary this year, so to celebrate they’re joining forces with MySpace to allow aspiring signers/freaks to submit audition videos online.

In a statement released Wednesday, executives said videos could be uploaded to MySpace’s American Idol site up until October 6th. The 40 second videos must be sung a cappella and come from an approved list of songs. Here are some of your choices: Bill Withers’ “Ain’t No Sunshine,” Barry Manilow’s “Copacabana” and Keith Urban’s “Kiss a Girl.” Only one video per person is allowed, so don’t get too excited.Kara DioGuardi Leaves American Idol (Official Statement)
A select few will be chosen to join other finalists at the callbacks in Los Angeles.Start uploading those videos, crazies! If you’re normal, don’t bother.
