“He will burn in hell for his deeds he committed,” Maurice Dubois said during the sentencing of John Gardner III, a California court on Friday.
Gardner was sentenced to three life sentences without possibility of parole for the rape and murder of Amber Dubois, 14, and Chelsea King, 17.

Supreme Court Judge David Danielsen sentenced Gardner, 31, to two life terms without parole for the rape and murder of two Amber Dubois and Chelsea King, and the third term of life for the attempted rape of Candice Moncayo, a runner who managed to escape attacks by Gardner elbows him in the nose.
Chelsea King, straight high school student, went missing on Feb. 25, 2010 while working in the park of San Diego. Her body was found five days later in a shallow grave on the shore of the lake. Amber Dubois went missing a year ago almost to the day. Her remains were found shortly after Chelsea King.
