“California-based NuCal Foods have issued a voluntary recall of shell eggs that were supplied by Galt, Iowa-based Wright County Egg, due to a Salmonella contamination.
The affected eggs were distributed to wholesale supermarkets and retailers in California and Nevada.
Officials from Wright County Egg released a statement saying that Salmonella enteritidis cases related to the affected shell eggs have been confirmed, and investigations into the source are underway.”
