Check out the first Anna Paquin wedding pictures online, with a look at Paquin and True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer’s Malibu wedding photos.

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer were married at a Malibu home on August 21, and from the grainy wedding pictures, Anna is seen wearing a white halter neck wedding gown.

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer’s wedding photos are starting to trickle online – check out Moyer and Paquin’s wedding vow pictures and more pics of their reception.

Following the ceremony, Paquin and Moyer had their reception across the street at a beach house, and from the looks of it, it was a really casual and fun event. Moyer was spotted swimming with friends at the reception.

Anna Paquin, who plays Sookie Stackhouse on True Blood, and Stephen Moyer, who plays Bill Compton, were engaged last summer on a Hawaiian beach. They met on the series, and began dating a few months after they started filming True Blood in 2008.

Guests at the wedding included True Blood co-star Carrie Preston, Michael Emerson and Elijah Wood.

Stephen Moyer has two kids from previous relationships – a son, Billy, and a daughter, Lilac.

Moyer said of Paquin in a July Playboy interview, “With Anna it’s just about pure trust, on camera and off. I have never trusted anybody like I trust Anna.”

Saira Banu

Saira Banu: I was studying in Queen's House, an elite school in London. My mother Naseem Bano who was called the first ‘Pari Chehra' or beauty queen of the film industry, had taken me to London after she saw me taking fancy to her ghaghra, lipstick and dance to the tunes of her film songs. For her, academics were more important than films. My grandmother, mother and my brother Sultan lived with me so that I could concentrate on studies. As my grandmother Shamshad Begum was a noted classical singer, who had settled down in London, we used to receive several people from the music, film and literature fraternity at home. People like Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Mehboob Khan, Khwaja Ahmed Abbas, K. Asif etc., used to visit us regularly. Then also people like Ramanand Sagar, Kamal Amrohi etc., used to offer films but my mother would tell them ‘Inke samne film ki baatein na karein'.

After I completed GECE (General Certificate of Education, equivalent to today's High School) at 14, I went to Bombay for holidays (1960). Producer Ram Mukherjee was making ‘Hum Hindustani' and he wanted to cast me opposite Sunil Dutt. But it was decided that I would look diminutive before him and the character too was such that she portrays herself to be opposite of what she is.

They required a mature looking woman who could play such an ambiguity. So, I didn't do the film and Asha Parekh did the role finally. Ram told my mother that Subodh Mukherjee was making ‘Junglee' and was looking for a tender, petite, innocent looking girl to play the lead. Ram directed him to my mother. When he saw me, he asked her to permit me to do the film and she accepted.

How it felt
Since my mother was extremely beautiful, Subodh ji wanted to publicise me in a grand style. He was the first man of the film industry to do an aggressive publicity/marketing of the film. He found an innovative idea through which in the film banners, he showed me in full ‘ghoonghat' (veil), which lifted step by step in the following banners in the run up to the film. It created mass hysteria.

People wrongly believe that it was Pramod Chakravarty who did the first major film promotion of ‘Dream Girl' (Hema Malini). Subodh Mukherjee was the first. I remember wherever we went for the film promotion, I could see a sea of people till the point my eyes could follow.

Those were awe-inspiring, exciting and proud moments.

How life changed
‘Junglee' became a silver jubilee and I was flooded with offers. Never ever I went to any producer/director for films and I never accepted small role in any film following ‘Junglee'. I worked for only four years (before marrying Dilip Kumar) and became the top most heroine of that time. I had dreamt of only two things in life; to became famous like my mother and marry Dilip Sahab. Allah granted me both, what more could I ask for? Today, Mashallah! I am extremely content with life.

Jennifer Aniston:'R-Word' Slip Causes Controversy

Former “Friends” actress Jennifer Aniston appears to have caused a bit of controversy recently, after she let the r-word slip during an interview with Regis Philbin and Kristin Cruz. If you didn’t watch the interview and are now wondering what the r-word is, it’s the word “retard.”

According to a recent article by Meg G at associatedcontent.com, the actress was speaking about her recent Harpers Baazar photo shoot at the time, when Regis asked her a question on how she got herself into the mood to embody Barbara Streisand for the photos.

Aniston’s reply was that she plays dress up for a living like a retard. This “slip” is the exact thing that has a lot of people talking. You can read more via associatedcontent.com. What do you think of Jennifer using the word “retard”?

Spokane Shock Win 2010 Arena Bowl

The Spokane Shock are the 2010 Arena Bowl champions. The Spokane Shock won the 2010 Arena Bowl Friday night, dominating a game against the Tampa Bay Storm. The Shock ended up winning 69-57, and we couldn't be prouder
of the home town team. During the 2010 Arena Football seasons, the Shock finished the regular season with the best record at 13-3, and won the right to host the 2010 Arena Bowl. That game was played on Friday, August 20 in front of more than 11,000 rabid fans.

The Spokane Shock just made it into this new version of the Arena Football League in 2010, as they just finished playing the 2009 season in AF2. While in AF2, they won the championship as well, so you might as well consider these back-to-back championships for the Spokane Shock. You could also say that this is one of the most dominating franchises in the history of Arena Football if you want to. Spokane has reason to celebrate again after Friday night's drubbing of the Tampa Bay Storm, and now they will head into the 2011 season looking to achieve a threepeat.

It was tough at times for the Spokane Shock to get the respect that they deserved this season, and they had a hard time getting votes in the ranking system from coaches on other teams. One week during the season, they even won and lost the top spot, which made no sense when they had just beaten the third ranked team. In the end, this is really the only ranking that matters, because the Spokane Shock are now the No. 1 team in world of arena football.

Rock The Bells = Hip-Hop Heaven

I love music festivals so much I dedicated a Facebook photo album to them: Festivals & Gatherings. In three short months, I have experienced Lightning in a Bottle at Oak Canyon Ranch, Weenie Roast at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater and Electric Daisy Carnival at LA Coliseum -- such diverse artists and line-ups and genres of music.

This Saturday, however, I am going to Rock The Bells, which to me is the equivalent of hip-hop heaven. Just take one look at the lineup and it's impossible not to jump and up down screaming I'm excited! I'm excited!

The Line up? Snoop Dog, Wu-Tang Clan, Rakim, KRS-One, Slick Rick, Street Sweeper Social Club, Murs and 9th Wonder, Wiz Khalifa, Clipse, Immortal Technique, Jedi Mind Tricks, Brother Ali, DJ Muggs and Ill Bill, Big Sean, Yelawolf, and hosted by Supernatural and DJ Rocky Rock. And let's not forget the special performance by Ms. Lauryn Hill.

This is also one of my favorite parts:

For the first time in the history of hip-hop entertainment, Rock The Bells is slated to have headliners perform their most influential albums in their entirety. East-Coast legends Wu-Tang Clan will perform Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers from beginning to end. Released in 1993, the group's debut album revived the New York rap scene and is widely regarded as one of the greatest albums in hip-hop history. Considered one of the greatest MC's of all time, Rakim is set to perform 1987's, Paid In Full, his first full-length album with Eric B. Fellow Golden age, East Coast rapper, Slick Rick will conquer The Great Adventures of Slick Rick. Released in 1989, this debut album became a certified-platinum classic topping the Billboard's Top R&B/ Hip Hop Albums charts. Highly regarded as the THE TEACHER,' KRS-One is a hip-hop culture advocate, music producer, MC and published author. Hailed as one of the best live performers, KRS-One will perform Criminal Minded. The 1987 trend-setting album sampled music from various genres including rock, reggae and funk.

Excited yet? Rock the Bells also teamed up with non-profit organization Hip Hop and Hope for Haiti.

This time of year is always filled with anxiety, excitement, and even relief, says Rock the Bells founder Chang Weisberg. Rock the Bells fans have the craziest expectations and the days and nights leading up to our initial announcement are surreal. Ultimately, our goal is to always present something that is historic. This year's show is the epitome of that tradition. Some things new and fresh, some things classic and legendary, and something that you've never seen or may never see and hear again. That's the formula. I am excited for this year's festivals and hope everyone is as hyped up as I am. As always, we will announce a few surprises and keep our fans on their toes all the way up to the day of the show.
See you in hip-hop heaven
