Michigan Football 2010

Michigan VS Indiana – Michigan Football 2010 Team 42-35 Win – The 2010 Michigan football schedule is available, and it looks like it is going to be an exciting seasons for the Wolverines. They have been able to put together a schedule that is desired by practically every NCAA teams. They have one of the largest stadiums in football, and have been able to create their schedule so that all of their challenging games will mostly be played at home.

So far the team is 4-0 but has yet to play any real competitive teams. The only tough team that they have faced so far is Note Dame who is hardly considered to be a powerhouse in this day and age anymore. They also beat UMass, Bowling Green, and Connecticut.

Today, Michigan will take on the 3-0 Indiana team. After the game today, they will not have another tough game from the big ten until they go on to face Michigan State. Their biggest test could come when they play Penn State toward the end of the season.
It will be interesting to see how the team looks after they have played in a few more competitive games. So far, they appear to be good but have not faced any solid competition that would force them to stretch the field. In their final game of the season they will be playing against Ohio State, who is currently ranked number 2 in the BCS standings. If they could pull out a win in that final game (assuming that Ohio State is still ranked well), they could potentially enter a high level bowl game.

Once more Michigan’s sophomore quarterback Denard Robinson was able to give his team the victory with a tossed a 42-yard pass -Michigan State got a 42-35 victory against Indiana.

It was business as usual for two highly ranked teams making their 2010 college football debut on Thursday. Terrelle Pryor started his Heisman campaign, leading 2nd-ranked Ohio State to a 45-7 drubbing of Marshall in Columbus.

Down in Miami, Florida, junior quarterback Jacory Harris dominated the field all night as the Miami Hurricanes beat Florida A & M in a 45-0 shutout. Jacory Harris had an easy night completing 12 of 15 passes for 210 yards and three touchdowns. His backups went 7 for 11 for 40 yards as this one was a laugher early. Miami scored 1:40 into the game on a 19 yard pass from Harris to Leonard Hankerson, who scored again before the first quarter ended. Miami led 35-0 at halftime and put it in cruise control from there.

Florida A & M threw for just 58 yards and ran for only 52. Miami ran for 155 yards as a team.

Terrelle Pryor was the story for Ohio State who ran out to a similar start to Miami. Ohio State had this game in the bag at halftime with a 35-7 lead. Pryor threw a six-yard touchdown pass to DeVier Posey 1:18 into the game to set the tone as Ohio State marches toward a national championship in the 2010 college football season.

Terrelle Pryor was 17 of 25 for 247 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. He had 8 carries for 17 yards on the ground. Brandon Saine ran for 103 yards on just 9 carries and touchdowns while Jaamal Berry had 80 yards on only 7 carries. The Marshall University Foundation, Inc., building on the branding opportunities presented by the opening this year of its new facility on the Huntington campus, has adopted a new logo, Foundation CEO Dr. Ron Area announced today.

The logo, along with style and branding guidelines, was developed by ChannelNet, a company founded in 1985 by Marshall University graduate Paula Tompkins. Tompkins is a member of the Marshall University Foundation Board of Directors.

“This year has been one of new horizons for the foundation,” Area said. “Our new facility and our new brand reflect these advancements and a continued commitment to the support the foundation is able to develop for the university. We deeply appreciate the work that Paula Tompkins and her ChannelNet team have so graciously provided our organization.”

The new foundation logo was designed with emphasis on respect, diversity, integrity and pride. It calls to mind both academic and financial institutions. The integrated “M” featured in the column logo-mark connects these references to Marshall and the foundation.

“As an active member of the foundation board, I saw an opportunity to lend my company’s expertise in digital marketing to bring a new level of consistency and quality to the foundation, alumni association and foundation hall branding,” Tompkins said. “I am extremely pleased with the results and believe that our new modernized logo and brands standards will better represent the quality of our organizations in a 21st century web enabled world.”

The Marshall University Foundation Hall, Home of the Erickson Alumni Center, opened in February 2010. The 33,220-square-foot building is located at 519 John Marshall Dr.
